Grab a clean bowl fill it with warm water and add a small amount of either dishwashing soap laundry detergent or carpet cleaner. A fresh nail polish spill is much easier to clean than a dried one and the trick is to get as much of the polish off the carpet as possible before it dries out. Use the spoon to carefully scrape up and scoop away excess polish on the carpet. Scoop up the nail polish with a spoon.

Using a toothbrush or a small scrub brush scrub the nail polish stain for about a minute. Take a clean cloth or sponge dip it in the bowl and start. Pour a non acetone nail polish remover onto the stain and continue to brush it out. Gently blot the stain don t rub with a white cloth until all of the nail polish color is gone.
